Teotitlán del Valle, in Oaxaca, is famous for handmade wool mats using ancestral pedal loom techniques. What stands out to these mats is the use of natural pigments extracted from local plants, minerals and insects, such as cochineal, pomegranate and indigo, which gives them vibrant and lasting colours. This tradition, handed down for generations, reflects the rich Oaxacan culture and respect for the environment. Visiting the village is an excellent opportunity to get to know this artisan process and acquire unique mats made by talented local weavers.
Hierve el Agua

We explore the petrified waterfalls of Hierve el Agua, where we will spend a stay of two hours with thirty minutes to first walk and then be able to cool down in the pools that store the water with great mineral content. During the walk you will appreciate the different views of the set of waterfalls that exist on the site, you will also find small springs that give life to the formations, the greatest wonder of the place is even at the bottom where you can see the fall of the highest waterfall and from its base you can capture the best photos for the memory. When you return from the hike you can cool off in the pool area or just take the time to meditate or contemplate the landscape which is surrounded by mountains that are a magnificent setting of the site.
