The tour was alright. I did not find a wow factor though the guide was nice and flawless. The Lindt factory is strictly okay considering the hype that is generated. If you miss it, you wont miss anything though the cruise trip adds a certain pizazz. The Zurich old town trip was nice but you would do it on your own too. Strictly, take the package if you are apprehensive about wandering on your own otherwise you can do all these things on your own and save money in the bargain too.

Nice bus and city tour with a knowledgeable guide called Marianne. Only a short walking tour but a good introduction to Old Town. Loved the boat trip. Would have liked to stay on and do the whole trip but Lindt is off at the first stop. Nice walk to the factory. Busy all the time and you can not take large bags in but put them in lockers. I queued then got sent to the lockers then queued again. The lockers could also be a challage to operate. Self guided tour was good. Lots of free chocolate and things to try. Audio guide is good. Not enough time to queue for the last part or to use the cafe. Quick visit to the shop then meet with the guide, walked to a public bus stop for a bus back to the area near where we boarded the boat trip ealier. Packed a lot in but just needed more time.
