"Marea has great management and staff, from Sofia and Luisa who helped me book tours that were just right for my family to Jaime and Jenni at the front desk and the amazing bar and restaurant crew - Fernando, Rodrigo, Carlos and Tirso! Marea is on a 20 km stretch of pure white sand each with almost no one around! The property is beautiful and the villas with plunge pools on the deck, beautiful interiors and comfortable furniture make it hard to want to go beyond your own front (patio) doors! "

"It’s a great apartment, even better than we expected. Very clean, with comfortable beds, good water pressure in the showers, and bottled water was included so we didn’t need to buy any. "The unit has a spectacular view. While dated, it was clean and suited us well. WiFi was slow, and often disconnected. Television was a bit small for viewing from couch on opposite side of the room, but who needs to watch TV when you have a view like that? With a view comes a steep walking driveway or lots of stairs, but even the 89-year-old mother of my girlfriend could manage to walk to the beach, and a taxi was just 70 pesos! Pools were gorgeous! Good value for the price!"
