"High up just above the village accessible by the hotel’s own tunnel and lift up through the rock (takes about 3 minutes from the street level) gives the hotel a wonderful quiet and exclusive position looking down on Zermatt and up to the Matterhorn. The view from the terrace, dining room and Matterhorn view rooms is fantastic and the quality and cleanliness of the Schönegg and friendliness of the staff is exemplary.
