"We really enjoyed our stay. The room was just what one would expect from an older inn, quite, clean and comfy. We ate breakfast and dinner at the inn, both were great. The inn was conveniently located and the staff were great! Certainly a nice change from staying at chain hotels."

The property has been tastefully restored as a modern inn that retains its old-world historic property charm. Extremely clean and well maintained. "Central position closed to main shops. Room was great, nice size clean and modern. Breakfast was also fine , lots of choices. Overall i would definitely stay again in future."

"The sunset suite was wonderful. Great location and loved the balcony’s off the living room and bedroom. My two issues were how limited and confusing parking was. Nothing to put on your car and you’re crammed into this small lot making you scared to leave the spot if you had to. Also water pressure and temperature was terrible in the shower. The music from the bar down below is quite loud however I knew that going into making my reservation. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay...

"The old Village Inn is a rare opportunity to step back in time and stay right on the square in a git Maine a beautiful little coastal town you can easily walk down to the beach or Perkins Cove or marginal Way and there are several entertainment and dining venues away the old Village Inn itself has an excellent chef and staff and I endure the nostalgia the end is under new ownership and they have changed the menu. I would prefer they change it back. It is less expensive now but more Italian type...
