The accommodation was as pictured, the shower was hot and powerful, the kitchen had 2 electric hob rings/microwave and fridge. All the required utensils for simple cooking, tea, coffee and sugar . Logs for the wood burner were also provided."

"Had 3 lovely days at Brooksyde. A very comfortable house, a home form home seaside retreat. A great base to visit Lyme Regis, Sidmouth etc. Beer is a really lovely little village with a few independent shops and restaurants. The voucher for the next door shop was a nice surprise. "We spent a family Christmas here and weren’t disappointed. The property itself is large enough for 9-10 people comfortably, with lots of space. The village is wonderful, very quaint, with some superb country walks, but not too far from Dorchester or Yeovil.The only issues we had were with some of the mattresses in some rooms being too soft, but that’s down to personal preference.Overall, would highly recommend."

"The location, the house, wow this was absolutely faultless. 7 adults, 1 teenager and 2 two dogs for 3 nights at new year and it was everything we hoped for. Spectacular views and perfect for the storm as we hunkered down and had a fire in the comfortable lounge playing games. We all found the beds extremely comfortable and each bathroom was spacious and very clean. The whole place, just incredible!"

We extended 2 days for easons of food poisoning and Georgy so accommodating which was fabulous. We would stay there again with out a doubt. Decoratedfor Christmas/ New Year which was lovely. "We were all very impressed with the place, for a huge property it was exceptionally clean everywhere and filled with everything you need. Bigger with some older style rooms, it gave a great feel for hide and seek. It provided a good base for all of us to hang out together whilst giving some space, great for games and a couple walks in the area. We really enjoyed our cold pond dips followed by warming up in the hot tub. This was already warmed up for us on arrival and lots of wood and starters...
