But the thing with the public baths is that you’re with other people who don’t know the bath etiquette— meaning there’s going to be lots of long hair floating in the women’s bath and people who don’t scrub down before getting in. Wish there was a little more signage that’s obvious for those who don’t speak/read Japanese. Getting into the outdoors bath and having a hairball stick to me didn’t feel...

"The room is quite big. We were a party of 4, so the room had 2 beds and 2 Japanese futons, which were all very comfortable. We went to the hot tub, which was located on the same floor as our room. The communal area was quite clean. Our package includes dinner and breakfast. Both were delicious. Overall, we are very satisfied with our stay. "

"Hotel Okada has an agreement with the hotspring spa next door. This was wonderful and unexpected. There is a convenient shuttle that goes to town for a very reasonable price. But there was no air-conditioning, so be careful going there if it is a hot season. "
