"Stayed for 1 night at a double room in 802. The room was pretty clean except for the carpet. It was stained, dirty and looks like it has not been deep cleaned in a while. The washroom was clean and had a bidet. Note: there is no TV"

"Excellent stay, cannot fault any part. Room was so nice and quiet. Good shared facilities and kitchen. Even has a cafe although I didn't have time to try it."

"Always stay here on layovers for the value and nearby train stations. There are a few that are cheaper by a few dollars but this one saves you from long walks . One train ride away from Asakusa or skytree . Plus airport direct trains. "

"I loved A16. It is an ideal spot to start a trip to Tokyo. It was very easy to get to, coming from Narita Airport and there are LOTS of good, cheap dining options within a very short walk. While not necessarily the closest place to tourist spots, it is very close to Asakusa-bashi train station, making it very easy to get around Tokyo. "Located near Kuramae Subway Station. Easy Acess from and to Haneda or Narita Airport. Property was just as described, but my husband wasn't too impressed with the lighting inside; it was a bit dark for him. Shared bathroom area was decent. A full sized mirror behind the door inside the room would be a nice touch. Ear plugs were provided as the sound proof was poor. You could hear conversation in the hallway. For budget travelers, this hostel serves its purpose. "

"This place is below standard in every way possible, but what the other reviews won’t tell you are how incredibly incompetent and rude the staff who work here are. "This is a good business hotel frequented by Japanese clientele for many years. While many foreign tourists have come to it in recent months, it caters far more to locals, and does that very well. It is a good JR property. Clean. Well managed, very professional. The area is decidedly not touristy, and that also has appeal to many. Anyway, transit in Tokyo is second to none; everything of need is 20 minutes away at most. All in all, an excellent hotel for the price point."
