“We were at Snetterton race track for three days. The hotel is just 15 mins from the track, I have stayed here at the Townhouse hotel previously and will always come back. “This place is outstanding. It’s a lovely location in a quiet village a few minutes walk away to the shop and pub and within minutes your in the countryside exploring the WWII history on offer. It’s very quiet and safe and free parking right outside the door. The cottage is very nice and is a mixture of modern bits mixed with old but has a very well stocked kitchen, a large comfy living area, a down stairs bathroom and toilet and two upstairs bedrooms. I will definitely be back.”

“I went to Diss to see friends & colleagues. On arrival no one was there to meet me as I had arrived early. There was no way of contacting the proprietor. They were on holiday, their adult daughter & son in law were taking care of bookings/stays. I had to wait for them to come home from work. The son in law was the first to arrive and was friendly & apologetic. The daughter arrived and she was equally lovely. The room was so nice and comfortable. I had a fantastic sleep & enjoyed my stay. ”

“We stayed Saturday 12th April for just the one night. Ample car parking and a warm welcome at reception. We had room 11 with a balcony it is very basic but clean. A bath with shower overhead plenty of wardrobe space and drawers. A sofa bed and coffee table by the window. No hairdryer available in the room and only one hand towel. “Comfortable stay once the heating kicked in. The hotel was booked in the premise that on Hotels.com showed that it had access to gym facilities. Upon arrival, it was explained this was not the case. We were greeted kindly and checked in without any issues - booking was already paid for online. Breakfast - a box breakfast was offered but was also advised we could go to breakfast at a different hotel. “Outstanding place. Very rustic, delicious food, great sevice and immaculate accommodation. The only downside is the noise of the traffic when you are staying in the roof rooms as there is little sound insulation. Take earplugs and you will sleep soundly!”
