「Lovely, quiet, peaceful location. Lovely place to stop staff very friendly and helpful and food was fantastic. The room very clean and tidy had a great view of the countryside and the sheep and horses in the field next door.」

「This hotel was fantastic. Boutique and cosy. The staff are so friendly, nothing is too much trouble and the bed is really comfy. Breakfast is top notch and love all the little touches you get with breakfast and in the room. Highly recommend and will definitely return」

「Beautiful scenic location. Hotel condition and all furnishing as new. Room extremely comfortable. Staff impeccable, not to be faulted. Food superb. Bar prices high. Lounge a bit bright…. Need table lamps rather than ceiling lights to give better ambience. Overall excellent.」

「2 nd time we have stayed and its excellent. Ticks all the boxes for a stay in the northern lakes. All the food was Fab and the Staff very friendly and Helpful. Great if you have a Dog and we enjoyed our Trip Very much 👍」

「Location of the hotel was good. Room was right next to reception and was abit noisy at times with people booking in. I didn’t have the breakfast as I was walking and needed to leave at 8am. I personally think 8am is late to start breakfast service. 」

「Helpful friendly staff, comfortable room. Very good breakfast included in the price, with sea views from the breakfast room. The shower controls were a little stiff and difficult to operate but quality soft towels compensated. Would have appreciated net curtains to allow light into the room, whilst maintaining privacy. Overall would definitely recommend. 」

「Super friendly/helpful staff. Good selection of beers at the bar. Walls/decor would appreciate a bit a refresh but a great stay none the less. If staying for The Northern Traverse/Coast2Coast and planning onleaving super early, they can send you off with a basic take away breakfast but need to know a few days in advance.」
