"Friendly staff, spacious and immaculately clean rooms. Large bathroom with towel warmer, ample space to store clothes and personal items. Light, airy rooms with a beautiful view of Peaacod street. Comfortable beds, desk, sitting area, and a nook for snacks and tea. Loved it here and would happily return! Bear in mind, this is a self-service hotel with three floors and no elevator. That didn't affect me, but is important to know. "

"I really enjoyed my 2 night stay at this historic pub. Kitchen did a fine job with food offerings for both dinner and breakfast. The staff are phenomenal in making sure your needs are met. Pack light as you will need to navigate stairs, which can be a challenge with a heavy bag. For sure, this is on my list to return again. Thank you Crown and Cushion!"

"Amazing hotel for families! So much detail into decorating, the rooms were themed fantastically - our little girl loves the treasure hunt within the room, excellent added touch! Staff were brilliant and very helpful! Food was over priced and breakfast was ridiculously busy with not enough staff to mange but that was the only thing letting the hotel down! "
