“ I normally refrain from negative comments but ... Parking is a nightmare experience - front car park was with difficult to find and then full ... After spending almost another hour parking at backdoor car park with proper payment of parking fees, you then receive a 100 pound parking ticket erroneously in the middle of night one week later !! ”

“Like this hotel having stayed before. The room was very comfortable and generally quiet although we did get an early wake up (before 06.00) due to refuse collection but it has to be done. The only points we were not particularly impressed with was that the bathroom bin had not been emptied before we arrived and contained used sanitary products. Also, for the price we would have expected the bed to be made and it wasn't.”

“Great one night stay after attending a wedding in the area. Well appointed room, in adjoining stable block, with bottled water, comfy bed and great shower. Lovely breakfast. We were also given a courtesy call on the day to check we were still coming as we were at the wedding. Highly recommend.”

“A unique British Experience. Pub atmosphere. Friendly staff. Great service and food in the pub. Excellent included breakfast. Be prepared with a carry on bag to your room as this old building has no elevator. Comfortable beds, clean room with unique decor. Music in the surrounding area ended around 11, and after that it was pretty quiet. If you’re afraid to have a little fun, then maybe this isn’t the place for you. But to start off your vacation with friends it checked off all the boxes.……

“Good: The decoration of the room is cozy and in good classic style There is a bar on the ground floor which is good Staff are nice and friendly Bad: Strong smell in the bathroom which is disgusting, we think that comes from the eroding wood The water boiler is not clean and there is even water remain inside Being asked for the room key after check out but believe their staff mixed things up (Wrong number tag on the key)”
