My group of 7 ladies, ages 58-71, chose this property for its proximity to First Monday Trade Days in Canton. The house decor was as pleasing as advertised; the patio and backyard were picturesque with vistas over Lake Tawakani. The sleeping accommodations, however, did not meet our expectations. The house was advertised to sleep 12, but that would only be true if 6 were children/young people. With 2 king beds and 2 standard beds, only 6 adults could sleep comfortably. One of our ladies slept on a standard mattress (stored under the bunk bed) that we pulled into the den and wore a sleep mask to shut out the morning sun.
The horribly rough, pothole-riddled roads we had to traverse getting to the VRBO are no reflection on the management, but they did distract from the enjoyment of arrival.
Overall, the setting and the house provided a tranquil getaway.
