We came to VA to celebrate my husbands birthday at Busch Gardens and Water Country. Upon first arrival the community is gated, quiet, and beautiful. The apartment numbers on the outside were confusing, but we figured it out. Inside the unit was very clean and decorated nicely. We arrived pretty late Friday night only to find that the TV’s in 2 of the bedrooms did not have remotes nor did the buttons on the tv’s themselves work. Also, the WiFi password given was incorrect. I emailed and called the contact info provided with no response, on Saturday morning. When we returned from the water park Saturday evening we found that the shower handle in one of the bathrooms was stripped, which made it hard to turn the water on and off. Even when it was off it still constantly dripped. I reached out to Evolve, and got a generic email response. On Sunday morning I finally got a call back from the contact person who informed me that she would let the owner know about the issues. We also found out that the dryer didn’t work. We put our wet clothes in on Saturday night and they were still damp Sunday morning. I ran them through the dryer again and they still did not dry.
No one ever showed up to fix any of the issues or reach out to use about compensation. Again, the unit was nice and clean, but the customer service was lack luster.
