「We rented this for a trip to snowshoe mountain. The host was very helpful and left notes to follow around the house. The cabin was very cozy and welcoming. You can see deer in the backyard if you leave feed. The host had the fireplace going and a batch of muffins ready when we arrived. That fireplace was also amazing for warming up after a day in the snow.」

If you've never visited before, I recommend arriving before they close. if you can't arrive before 5pm, I recommend you confirm exact directions to where you are staying. The directions given are to the general property and the property is really big. So unless you know exactly where you are going, you will get lost. Don't be like me and make certain you know exactly where on the property you will be staying. It is worth it. 」

Fortunately the house WiFi can handle all but the most intense gaming loads (bandwidth is great but satellite-level pings) and has plenty of TVs board games, and other pastimes for those seeking a digital detox. The hosts were great with communication, offering to help when needed but also perfectly willing to keep a distance when we wanted to embrace the...

「This cozy cabin made for an excellent home base during a recent family girls’ trip to the Helvetia and Pickens areas. The large bathroom adequately accommodated three women and was stocked with plenty of towels. Beds were comfortable and dressed with soft linens. We thoroughly enjoyed the cabin’s peaceful and secluded setting, accessed by an easily navigable drive. I appreciated the value of this rental along with the owner’s excellent communication and would not hesitate to stay here again.」

「Needs to be a lot cleaner, TV system needs upgraded, shower needs a grab bar or something?? Cost is too high! You should provide at least a bottle of wine for the cost. It is a beautiful area that deserves better. There's no TLC and it shows!」
