There were 8 of us on this trip ranging in age from 30 to 60+. The property was centrally located for visiting wineries and beautifully situated on the lake with incredible views, beautiful grounds, and a nicely decorated and clean interior. The host went above and beyond and included wonderful details, such as linens, coffee, hot chocolate, condiments in the fridge, wood for the outdoor firepit and the supplies to make s'mores (which we couldn't use because of the rain). The only two slight drawbacks were the actual sleeping accommodations and the beach access. The VRBO description states that there are three bunk beds and two queen sized beds (an actual bed space for 10 people). This is not the case. The "three" bunks are actually just three individual loft spaces into which none of us were spry enough or comfortable enough to climb. They would be great for groups with adolescents, but not necessarily for mature women. We ended up sleeping on the two queens, the couches, and an air mattress that one of us brought along. The beach is very private and very beautiful but almost impossible to actually reach. There are steps leading 3/4 of the way down to the beach, and they are new and very sturdy; however, the stairs end at a virtual cliff. To get to the actual beach requires climbing down the cliff like a mountain goat, which only two of us were brave enough to actually do. All in all, we loved the property and would stay here again (but we'd bring more air mattresses)!
