「My wife and I stayed here for a few days while our apartment was being worked on. It was a staycation for us. I booked here because of the price and the positive comments. Loved it. The Manager was helpful in every way. Although the building looks...ecentric from the outside the room was very comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and the room had a comfortable recliner which I really enjoyed. The room was also very clean. Overall, impressed.」

「This is my second stay here. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and pet friendly. The employees are exceptionally helpful and friendly. My spouse was a little disappointed with the salty eggs at breakfast.」

「Excellent value brand new hotel. The railway nearby was occasionally noisy, but not throughout night which was good. The TV didn’t work properly (no signal). Room was very large and comfortable with nice kitchenette.」

「Overall the Duck Inn is a good, clean option for staying in or near Plains. The facility is quite old but kept up well. 」
