Host is a Horror Show - Painful Over the Top Communication. Constant complaining w/Profanity!
Do Not Rent this Property... Run Away! Painful to say the least. Host was awful from the start, a book full of welcoming and leaving instructions! 100 Fee not included in listing to use the hot tub. Found out about it days before the rental, VRBO said this was ok, I don't think so. Sat in grit in the hot tub, and three of our guests got folliculitis, a rash from poor maintenance of hot tub. Host is over the top controlling, who constantly harassed us during our stay. Had to call host before arriving to receive verbal instructions to light the hot water heater pilot light (not disclosed in the listing) and multitude of instructions to open and close the place. Surprised we didn't have to drain the water pipes. Towels were like using sandpaper. Profanity latent posters with famous people giving the finger to whomever is looking at the poster. Screws, hardware, & tools left hanging around. Had to open boxes of multiple space heaters, read instructions, and turn on to keep warm, then re-box before leaving. Had to bring fire wood, with ridiculous instructions to operate wood stove (didn't bother). Constant requests to pay fees thru Venmo (not VRBO process), then gets upset when we refused to use Venmo. Had to pay extra guest fee for 7th and 8th person when home easily accommodates 10 people. Nickel and dimes you to death with fees. Worst rental in 6 years of renting. This person should not be renting their home. Have submitted multiple complaints to VRBO.
