Nice Weekend Getaway
Enjoyed this spacious house that easily accommodated our family for my mother's 80th birthday weekend. We were able to cook for everyone, sleep everyone comfortably, and loved hanging out on the deck. Recommend this to families looking to spend some quality time together.

We stayed two nights for our sons near by wedding. Although we didn’t have a lot of time to spend at the house, it would be a perfect place to just escape from our busy lives and just relax. The house supplied everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again.

Had an excellent stay at this property with a small group of old friends over 40. Nice, relaxing views from the porches and we enjoyed the private dock. Would return for sure.

This was the second time we stayed here and loved everything just as much! Only suggestion would be to offer a rowboat as fishing from the dock was not productive, though it may just have been the time of year — fish are fickle. We will be going back next year for sure.

A lovely week at the lake
My family had a relaxing week away. We all enjoyed the lake and the kayaks and appreciated the small-child life vests. The kitchen was well-equipped. The pingpong table was fun. Plenty of towels and two hair dryers also appreciated. A few items that are counter to the description or weren't mentioned: The sofa bed mattresses were unsleepably uncomfortable. The beds don't have pretty quilts on them. Four cars in the driveway fit only if small cars. The pipes knock loudly and can be heard in the downstairs bedroom.

We found the place "as advertised" and had a great time. We brought a small boat - had no problems getting access to the lake - and enjoyed having access to the lake from the property. We spent the majority of the time hanging out on the deck and the dock! All the accommodations were in good order and as shown.

Myself and 3 friends came to shop the Brimfield Flea Markets. We loved coming home each night to the lake house and it's gorgeous views. The home could use some decor updates, but that sort of added to the homey charm. Very Clean!! Would stay again.

The driveway WAS very steep and only would fit 4 compact cars. Ours trucks were a tight fit. There were several light bulbs that were out and dishwasher did not work well, also it smelled. Otherwise the house was perfect for our needs as we spent most of our days at Brimfield.

We had WONDERFUL time on this property! The kids (and adults!!) had a BLAST on the lake swimming and boating. Amazing that the boats were part of the rental and we could use them to our hearts content, without having to rent to per hour. There were plenty of life jackets in ALL sizes infant though adult. Additionally, the ping pong table was a lot of fun, as were the puzzles and books entertaining. Phyllis was a real pleasure to communicate with and was so welcoming. We had such a great trip!!!

Lovely Lakehouse
This was a very lovely lakehouse with beautiful views from multiple decks and the docks. It is located in a neighborhood, but it still felt very private with the mature landscaping and trees surrounding the property borders. We really enjoyed swimming from the dock and paddling around the lake and nearby stream. Very friendly lake community. I think pictures were accurate - much of the house is updated, but some is not. Everything was in great working order. We all enjoyed our stay!

Really enjoyed our stay on this lakefront property. The home was very clean and comfortable. The outside porch overlooking the lake was exceptional. My older kids had a nice time kayaking. Would stay here again.

Cozy camp....
I don’t like negative reviews. I do however have to speak the truth. This is not my first VRBO rental and expected much more for money charged. Positives were owner very attentive (is cleaning person also), and it is on a beautiful lake. Pictures are very misleading. Kitchen and baths outdated. Kitchen not clean, could not make a meal. Shower and tub didn’t seem clean, had body hair in them. Coffee pot didn’t work, owner brought new one, my coffee drinkers didn’t care for what she brought. Pipes in house sang like orchestra all night long. Steps! 12 steps down to house! 47 steps down to water/fire pit. Canoe has gray tape on it. Cant put that in water! No up to date life jackets. In short, needs updating to kitchen and baths and new towels and linens, bed pillows and washed and clean blankets. Also kitchen pots and pans need replacement. This is a cozy cabin.
