"The property is spacious and well positioned for the beach. Difficult to park a car on their driveway so had to park elsewhere. The BBQ and oven were not clean. Leak in shower room and one shower not working but fixed whilst we were there. The property is lovely and the host personable. With the charges for cleaning i would expect it to be spotless. "Everything we needed for a lovely week, wonderful walks to The Lizard along cliff path. We drove every day to Helston to pick up a newspaper & provisions. The minor downside is the narrow roads but we only had to back up once all week. We have rebooked again for next year. Fresh air, excellent outlook, no traffic & very private. "Fantastic place to stay - short and lovely walking distance to st ives (although a hill coming back). The hotel is very clean and tidy and the staff are always happy to help. Great choice of breakfast and all very tasty and warm. The only small negative I would say is it's a shame theres no sauna/ jacuzzi but they do have an indoor and outdoor pool. "Unfortunately a noisy first night due to a wedding. Much quieter on the Sunday. Hotel did give us some discount and a bottle of wine for the inconvenience ( and lack of sleep). Food was very good and couldn't fault breakfasts. May check in future about functions and the whereabouts of our room in relation to other wedding guests. "
