"Once we saw that Waynesville was open to visitors We booked last minute to come up for apples and to enjoy the Apple Festival. This property was perfect! One block off Main Street and walking distance to the festival and downtown Waynesville with lots of neat stores and restaurants. Very clean, bed was really nice--much more comfortable than most rentals. We didn't use the twin in the 2nd room but I assume it was just as nice. WIFI and cable TV were excellent--included local channels and ESPN!...

"Things we really liked: *Hand soap at all sinks *Beds are super comfy, and 3 are king sized *Lots of kitchen supplies, including a coffee pot, Keurig, an instant pot and a ninja air fryer *Lots of starter supplies of TP, paper towels, trash bags and even laundry pods *AC works great, though with vaulted ceiling in the main house, upstairs was warmer than downstairs *Wrap around covered porch is amazing with lots of seating *Pet friendly, including dog bowls *Very clean & did not smell like it...

"We stayed for almost a week and were able to take advantage of nearby skiing, hiking, a day trip to Dollywood and more. So much to do within a one hour drive. We enjoyed being able to have such a nice space to make our own food, wind down in the evening with a movie or some board games. Very comfortable accommodations!"

"House was located in a nice neighborhood. It was comfortable and clean. View from back deck was good, although limited. Enjoyed sitting on back deck and watching rabbits and birds at feeder. Suggestions: upgrade and furnish additional pillows for beds, 2) furnish a reasonable supply of trash bags for kitchen 3) furnish a reasonable supply of toilet paper and paper towels ( at least 2 rolls per room). There is a family of groundhogs living in a den in the rocks by the steps on the East side....

"The property is beautiful! When you look out the living room window, you have a beautiful view and the neighbor has horses! The bed on the first floor is so soft. I LOVED the fact that they had dogs treats out and dog beds! They even provided bowls for the fur babies! My only complaint is the driveway. You definitely need a truck! Otherwise, we will probably come back to this property next year! "

She had the cabin all ready and offered help with maintaining the woodburning stove and recommendation for the area. We went to the area to pick up a tree at Mehaffey Tree Far where we not only got a beautiful tree but met the owners who were very nice and posed for a picture with our Newfoundland dog. And, do not miss Johnny's Pancake House in...
