"The Cairn Creek Barn was so perfect for a family getaway, especially if you love horses. Everything about the place was so thought out. All possible amenities from refrigerator, coffee maker, coffee, pots & pans, toaster, pour over coffee, shower, luxurious towels, washer & dryer, high chair, pack & play, extra sheets & blankets, sofa bed, air conditioning, large TV with streaming, intimate & family sized balconies, sitting area downstairs, fire pit, porch swing, horses, ponies, cats and dogs....

"The house was very clean and cozy inside with many great features. Outside there were bees swarming around the front corner of the hot tub. The gas tank on the grill was empty and there were many bugs accumulated on the outside of the house near the doors that needed cleaned. . "

"Property was beautiful house and location, kids really enjoyed the zip line. Disappointed in hot tub, 1st night someone came and worked on it it never got above 88 degrees. Propane tank for gas grill was empty, we had to go and buy one in order to grill out."

"Overall it was great. The rental was clean and had all of the amenities. Beds were ok but they could use some new pillows. We came for fall color at the regional parks but the fall color was better right near the rental. Exploring the roads in the area was fun. Try to arrive before dark, as the roads are tricky. The second to last step of the instructions you need to go over a blind hump to get to the right road. Easy to miss that in the dark. Note it’s a bit of a drive from where you pick up...

"This house was perfect for us, family meeting for my terminally ill mother. It was perfect, plenty of room, everyone had their own room to rest, lots to do outside. It was perfect."

"The apartment was the cleanest short term rental I've ever stayed in. Check in was easy. I didn't cook but the kitchen had everything you would need. But just basics. Plus plus coffee and coffee filters were there. And a few snacks. Bathroom had all the basics avaliable. Plenty of paper supplies. Easy walk to the downtown restaurants and shopping. The air conditioning is windrow units and there was only one in the master bedroom and one in the living room. I asked and quickly received one...

"Cute little place in a quiet neighborhood. Easy to find. We stayed here for a wedding in Oak Hill, which was only a 17 min drive. "

"This was the perfect place for us to stay! It was very clean and cozy. Close to Hocking Hills but away from the crowds. The home had all the conveniences we wanted in a simple, uncluttered way. We were able to access the beauty that is Hocking Hills and relax at this wonderful property. From the gas grill to the outside seating, the adorable kitchen to the cute bedrooms, this is a fabulous little place. Bruce was easy to communicate with, offering tips so we could enjoy the locale. "Our stay at Whiskey Rock Lodge was wonderful! There was room for all of us to spend together. My son in law loved using the grill, I liked being able to cook in the well equipped kitchen, my daughter, grandson and his friend enjoyed the hot tub. My husband (and everyone else) loved the location. The game room was provided great competition! We would definitely recommend Whiskey Rock Lodge!"
