"This is a hidden gem in the DC area and my favorite place to stay. Quiet, elegant, beautiful boutique hotel at its best! The price would lead you to believe otherwise. I love to hang out in the lobby or courtyard and the staff could NOT be more helpful. Really. They couldn't. The Mt. Vernon metro is a few blocks away with a direct line to the Mall for museums or anywhere else. Safe neighborhood but not remote. I felt comfortable walking alone anywhere, anytime. "

"I love the Dupont Circle Hotel, and this is the only place I stay while in DC. Their furniture on my latest stay was looking a little worse for wear, but I think a small spruce up will bring it back to its former glory. Maybe update the carpet and the furniture facings. But the amenities, restaurants, and room service are too notch. The street facing rooms can get a bit noisy. "

"The hotel is located in a very convenient location with public transportation right near by. It's walkable to the Capitol and the National Mall. The staff was friendly and helpful. In the room there were a couple of minor things that showed a lack of maintenance - the towel hook was loose in the bathroom, the sign in the shower that showed how to use it was wrong/out-dated, and the closet door had to be kept closed with an external hook.
