"The area was gorgeous and the cottages were set up really cute and quaint! Very friendly and accommodating staff. The road to the cottages could use some work, and should be driven with mindfulness. "We very much enjoyed our stay in this darling cabin! The cabin was clean, the scenery is beautiful, and the animals on site are delightful. The hosts are very easy to talk with and were happy to take us on a tour of the property. We enjoyed seeing the cows right outside of our cabin as we relaxed in the mornings on the comfortable porch. There are great restaurants in the nearby town, and a grocery store is an easy 10-15 minute drive away. We would definitely choose to stay here again!"

"Owner was easy to communicate with, the property was beautiful and set away from it all; but still 15-20 minutes from downtown Brenham. Kids were able to roam, check out the livestock, fish, and relax at the pool. Plenty of room to grill and cook, all while relaxing at the end of baseball tournament games. "This place was incredible! We stayed there for only one night but wish we had booked it for more! The outdoor shower, hot tub, snack basket, breakfast, and everything else was amazing. The owners have an eye for detail. The lights were on with music when we arrived. We enjoyed everything they had to offer including our morning coffee on the back porch with chickens roaming around. We even saw multiple deer the night before. I highly recommend this romantic getaway place!"

"We are only 2 hours away from Rockin Star, but this was just far enough to get out of the city & enjoy the quiet & slower pace of the hill country. We enjoyed the pool each evening & it was very relaxing. Darrell Sr & Jr were super friendly & helpful with the ins & outs of the property, and Darrell Sr showed us around the property.
