"Ich verbrachte 3 Tage mit meiner Mutter im Gasthaus zur Sonne. Mit dem gratis erhaltenen S-Bahn Ticket konnten wir Freiburg in 20 Minuten erreichen. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Highlights: geräumiges Zimmer, sehr bequeme Betten, gute Parkmöglichkeiten, wunderbares Frühstücksbuffet. Negativ: laut knarrende Badezimmertür. Wenn jemand lärmempfindlich ist würde ich raten woanders Abend zu essen aber das Essen selbst war ausgezeichnet. "

"The staff were excellent. Restaurant was great. But, No provision to make a coffee in the room or on the premises was annoying as it was very difficult to find anything open in the village to get a coffee. Shower head was stable and water flooded the floor. Also, most of the people in the hotel were elderly and getting over a steep bath to have a shower is a health hazard."

"My family and I stayed at this hotel while we were visiting a family member studying at the Uni. We were absolutely blown away by the accommodations. The staff was helpful and friendly. Housekeeping kept the room immaculate. The breakfast is excellent. It is right on the tram line, so we were able to travel all over Frieburg. It is right by a bakery, ice cream shop, drugstore, grocery store, an a couple of restaurants. When we are in Freiburg again, we will definitely stay here."
