"Old college friends meeting up once a year for antiquing, no cooking, no husbands and lots of conversation. We enjoyed a two night stay. Plenty of space for 2. Each of us had our own bed and full bath (up bath is a shower only). One of each on the main floor and in the basement. Minimal but nice decor. Wished we brought binoculars. Pretty view of the lake. A decent walk to the dock. Mown path. A killer climb back up if you have sciatica and bad knees. We didnt spend much time in the back....

"We loved the hot tub, the porch and the cabin. We loved venturing to Goshen and Elkhart and visiting the towns. There was a coffee table with lighting above that was perfect for our puzzle! We were looking for an isolated cabin, and this is not that, but it was very nice and the beds were super comfy."

"The cabin worked for a home base for us, but it was not what was pictured...not even close!! outside was nothing like the picture, cabin looked older. Upon arrival, kitchen sink was dirty, stove had obviously had something hot spilled on knobs that were melted and grimy, stove had no propane, we had to switch the tank over (they did refill it), they provide the charchoal grill as listed, but no utensils. "Overall, we had a great experience staying here. The location is great, right next to Barbee Lake, also near Warsaw and Winona Lake. There is a very nice bar & grill restaurant right next door on the lake, and another restaurant in the hotel just down the road. The house was very easy to check into. There were no checkout instructions, which did make us wonder what was expected of us, so we just did our best to clean up after ourselves. Something else that we really appreciated was the game room...
