"We have just had 3 beautiful days and nights in a rustic timber house set in the hills of Bridgetown for our 35 Wedding Anniversary. Friends over one evening, feeding all the native birds that come to the verandah, the sounds of nature were so refreshing and great for recharging our batteries. Loved the house and everything about it, full of all sorts of quirky things. It has a great fur baby yard, we don't have a dog but can see how they would love it as well"

"Such a lovely rural property with vineyards, orchards, a veggie patch, and bird life - blue wrens, robins and swallows. A cosy home with comfy beds, a well stocked pantry, coffee machine and even fresh farm eggs. We loved the seats in the octagonal window where we could just sit and enjoy the scenery. "The cabin is very well appointed with everything you could need and beautifully set in bush surrounds near the river with lots of lovely big trees. The large verandah was the perfect resting place with a variety of seating choices to enjoy the wind in the trees and the visiting Ringneck parrots, wrens, Alpaccas, geese and a lovely king skink and her baby. "Had a lovely stay here. It’s an easy drive to town and lovely to come out here and enjoy the sitting by the fire pit looking over the valley and river. The apartment had everything we needed. And the heated towel rail and underfloor heating in the bathroom is a touch of comfort. "

I had to supply my credit card details on booking and I was disappointed they had processed and charged my credit card before we checked in as I had the cash to pay. Instead I was charged extra for them using my card. Very disappointed."
