Chambers Hollow Cottage is a thoughtfully renovated and restored 3 bedroom home nestled in the rolling hills of Delaware County. Set on 85 acres of former farmland, Chambers Hollow has fields and forest to explore before settling into the comfort of the home. Nearby towns offer opportunities for shopping, dining and activities. Let the quiet of the countryside lull you to sleep, and the fresh air reenergize you. The Space
Enter through the back of the house into a quaint enclosed screened in porch There is ample space for coats and shoes and it's also a great place to relax or read a book on a rainy day.
The kitchen and dining area are at the back of the house. A large, picturesque farm sink overlooks the fields. Spacious countertop and an island for food preparation make it easy for groups preparing meals together. A custom made dining table brings the space together. Cozy for a farm style breakfast or an evening of after dinner games.
The intimate living room has a sliding door that leads to a side porch. With a wood burning stove, record player and comfortable seating, it's the until place to kick back after a long day exploring the outdoors.
A bedroom on the first floor features a queen bed and en suite with shower. Vintage wallpaper discovered during the renovation provides a gorgeous backdrop to the bed.
On the second floor there are two bedrooms, each with a queen bed. Sloped cathedral ceilings and a skylight in each rooms make the even more spacious. See the stars at night, right from the bed, or gently wake up to the morning light streaming in. Light sleepers - bring a sleep mask!
A charming bathroom upstairs has a tub/shower combo. In the summer luxuriate in the bath before going to bed with a bouquet of field flowers next to the tub. Winter time add some locally sourced bathing salts from a nearby market and soothe your muscles after a day of playing in the snow.

This is just an extremely cool place in Walton. Furniture store run by architects, opening a gallery next door. They also sell bread and snacks sometimes. Must visit for anyone who likes design.
Bear Spring Mountain: 9.7 miles
Large park/wildlife management area 10 mins from the house. Can swim/boat and hike.

A vehicle is necessary to get around. There is no or limited Uber or transportation services in the area.
In the winter months when snow is likely (October through April) AWD or 4WD is recommended along with all weather or snow tires with good tread.

Check-In and Check-Out: Plan your travel on our listed 4PM arrival and 11AM departure times. Changes in times may be available for an additional fee if possible. Please give at least 24 hours notice for requests, last minute requests may not be possible as cleaning and service schedules are planned in advance.
We have awesome neighbors; help keep us awesome neighbors too.
- No parties. Only the number of guests on the reservation should be in the house. Let Host know of daytime guests.
- No smoking or vaping indoors. If you must smoke, do so outdoors only and extinguish when done then put in the garbage.
- No pets. I know. we love them too.
- No ATV's, snowmobiles, fireworks or firearms.
