we loved the space, comfortable, subtle decor.. fantastic kitchen! We did a lot of cooking and loved the amenities and the big windows with bay bridge view. bayside beach and the Salty Dawg are right there! Would stay again!

Great for our needs

In town for a baseball tournament and needed a place to stay within proximity to Toledo/Newport without the price tag on Newport hotels. Great price for the weekend we booked and much better than a hotel for the same or more. Clean, comfortable and had everything we needed.

Perfect beach getaway

Beautiful, spacious, and clean unit in a quiet neighborhood. Location was good for exploring, as both Newport and Florence were a short (and breathtaking) drive away. Small park on Alsea Bay and delicious food at the Salty Dawg being within walking distance was an added bonus!

Gorgeous view from the kitchen. We sat on the barstools night of July 3 and watched people’s personal fireworks from the kitchen. The laminate floors were great for the dogs. Kitchen had what we needed. We had a wonderful time and would rent there again.

charming house close to the beach

Loved how quiet the location is ! The house was fully stocked linens & towels . Kitchen has everything you need to make a nice meal . Bonus having a W / D in the unit ! It's a very short walk thru the field behind the house to the beach . * NOTE: Do Not go in bare feet & be careful w/ a dog as there are awful little low growing sticker bushes w/ painful thorns.

We loved staying at this Vacasa. We could see the bridge over the bay from the back windows. Right by the park and down the road from the grocery store. The kitchen has a blender, hot water boiler, and a pizza cutter. Soaps were provided. The washer and dryer were included. Games in the closet. Netflix on TV. 2 TV trays in the closet by the front door. Kids dishes, scissors, foil and sandwich bags, the kitchen just felt so well stocked. Extra linens and towels. Blankets, heaters and fans.

Small Town Feel

Updated home with 2 separate apartments near the docks. Apartment was well stocked and had everything we needed. Walking distance to the docks which was fun and we were able to rent crabbing gear/licenses on site - so fun! Neighbor was friendly and helpful. Check in/out was simple other than we weren't sure which unit was ours and we arrived late so it was dark. We felt bad walking around checking random doors as there were other tenants. Property management company never got back to us when we had questions regarding waste management.

Close to crab docks

The house was very cute and had a coastal feel. Well decorated and close to crabbing. Beds were VERY comfortable, kitchen has everything you would need to cook a nice meal.

Ocean getaway

Our home away from home was clean with a fully stocked kitchen. It was a short walk to the beach on the bay. We also enjoyed the views of the bridge from the kitchen window. Ray’s grocery store is just down the street. The home is minutes from PCH 101 allowing access to many of the nearby beaches and sites.

Great for short stay

We were looking for somewhere to stay until we checked into a long term rental. This fit the bill. It was reasonably clean (the floor needed a good mopping) and the bed was very comfortable. The location was very convenient for our needs. There are a few practical, easy things that would make the kitchen more user friendly, but they aren’t game changers. We would recommend it for a short stop over.

Two night stop. Place is nice and right on the bay. Trail to bay beach from backyard. There is no dining table, bar is useable for meals. Beds comfy. Good syay

Good location, but very noisy and obnoxious.

The few things that was nice is the location to downtown areas by foot. Supplied toiletries, nice setting, clean, but very noisy. Was expecting to have our own place to stay in to not worry about noise, but hardly slept the whole time staying their because of VERY NOISY neighbors. I will not stay here again because of this main issue. VERY thin walls, neighbor yelling at their kid or dogs at 7 am, while other 4plex neighbors are slamming doors. This was very miserable to stay at and had barely any sleep.

Cool location, noisy neighbors!

Loved how clean the place was, loved that it was close to downtown area, but had the noisiest neighbors to deal with! The listing did NOT describ that it was a 4plex to start, it was advertised as if you has 2300 sq ft to yourself when in reality youre stuck to less than 800 sq ft. Consistently heard doors slamming, footsteps, noise through walls, neighbor screaming or yelling at both their kids and dog at 7 AM on a weekday. We both barely slept because of the noise, tiny beds, and NO AC! If there was no AC, at the very least provide a WORKING Fan for airflow because not only was it hot, it also reaked of crab due to the area. I will not stay at another place like this. We wanted privacy and this was nothing private of the sort. Wish i would have left home instead of staying here at this point to keep my money from how uncomfortable it was. Sorry, but there was absolutely no warning about being stuck in a 4 plex otherwise, id rather stay in a hotel for how mu h we spent.
