"Whoops this place is in a need of refurbishing as it’s tired and noisy.. paper thin walls and doors and windows just hanging on in there. Yes a motel but tramped through and worn out. But the communal kitchen and bar area are great"

"Well situated for Tonariro crossing. Walked to dining spots. Staff was super friendly and helpful. They have gear and cords to rent of you need it. Rooms are a touch small, though they have everything requ."

"We were upgraded from a 2 bedroom to a 5 bedroom (we still only used 2 bedrooms) but had a nice large house with a fireplace. Loved coming in from the snow to a cosy house. "

"This property was older but clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable the sheets crispy clean. I rang ahead to let the staff know we’d be late, they were very accommodating. No surprises here was exactly what I was expecting, we appreciated a place to stay for the night after halfway through a long trip. "
