"Friendly staffs and owners. The owner hosted a free glowworms tour every night in the forest beside the lodge. He’s very experienced and also told us many fun facts on glowworms. Overall a clean lodge at a very convenient location. The only small downside is the stove for cooking in the room is not very strong, so it might take awhile if you want to do self-cooking. Will definitely recommend friends to stay at this place when they visit fox glacier. "

"The room was very clean. But it says wifi which unfortunately does not work unless you are outside. The TV works off of wifi, so no TV to be able to unwind. The frame on the twin bed needs to be bigger as you fall off either side giving you mininum area to sleep. But it was great distance to the Fox Glacier walk and Lake Matheson."
