"We had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay in this lovely gîte. Sandra and Alun gave us a very warm welcome and were very helpful on where to visit and recommendations on where to eat. The accommodation is very comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed relaxing by and using the pool. We particularly enjoyed exploring Brantôme, Périgueux, Bourdeilles, the caves at Villars and the surrounding area. We highly recommend this gîte and would stay here again. Thank you Sandra and Alun "

"What a beautiful farm for a relaxing stay! Brice was very welcoming and helpful with suggestions of places to eat and shop. He had good English language skills and was very helpful in guiding our still-developing French! There are nearby places, even on the farm, to hike on trails and explore the woods. We ate our meals on a table in the backyard watching the sheep grazing around us. All in all, a beautiful place and time! I highly recommend it!"

"We enjoyed a lovely week at the Gite. The house was a very comfortable , cool, converted barn with a well equipped kitchen / dining room and a nice outside space for eating too. The pool area was lovely - very clean and peaceful. The bathroom is relatively basic with only one (separate) toilet. Lovely comfortable beds and beautiful surrounding countryside. "Great location for access to Saint Mathieu and the lake. Good sized bedrooms, plenty of decent crockery, etc. No frills but adequately met our needs. As we were only a couple we were paying a premium, better value for a family. Gardens surrounded the property with plenty of choice of seating, weather permitting."
