"If you go to the Big Island, this is where you want to stay. The view is the best. We saw sea turtles every morning. It was less than 10 minutes from a good-sized farmer's market. All the stuff in Hilo is just 30 minutes away. Plenty of room for our family of 6 adults. Lots of beach gear! Thank you."

"Quiet neighborhood with a rainforest like atmosphere. Covered outside area to sit and enjoy coffee in the morning and libations in the evening after a grand hike around the rim. The beds were soft. The gas fireplace was awesome on a rainy evening after dinner. This place was perfect for our stay and we would love to stay here again given the opportunity. "

Driving into downtown Hilo was super convenient as was exploring the surrounding attractions - waterfalls, botanical gardens, local farms, etc... "This house deserves more stars than 5. The one category that I rated 4 stars was website accuracy because the photos don’t do it justice, from the house itself to the magnificent views from inside each window. Our family group consisted of a five year old, his parents and one set of grandparents and each of us loved this place. We appreciated the cleanliness, comfort and beauty of the setting. There is a lovely wraparound porch and, as the description says, each bedroom has its own bathroom....
