Amazing rustic yet modern cabin on the sea
Perfect location on the sound and within swimming distance of raft for those who can brave the cold water. Great use of smallish space and private upstairs and downstairs when needed. Combo shower and toilet cool but t-paper gets wet when showering so move out when showering. Combo washer/dryer didn’t seem to be able to dry only. Spent hours in deck just listening to the lapping of the water and watching sun set. Loved the wheelbarrow transport system - not for the feeble, however. Quiet and private location. Felt like a magical paradise. Very clean w every item well thought out. Very much a 10! Will definitely return!

Beautiful home but inflexible when there were problems with the property
This is a beautiful location and home, but if anything goes wrong, the management company is difficult to work with. During our stay, a pipe burst, and they did not send anyone, did not offer a partial refund, and refused to offer a late checkout despite the fact that we only had one bathroom that we could use. I would have loved this place if the management had been more accommodating when we had major problems with the property.

Idyllic Pacific Northwest
Beautiful spot in Paradise Cove, was fun to have coffee in the morning and watch the seals right in the water and dock out front! The home exceeded expectations, very comfortable and clean. The short walk to the home made it all that more interesting and exclusive, would definitely come back again!

The house was perfect for the two of us...beautiful sunrise and sunset. We were able to walk quite away on the beach...

Bad To the Bone
Upon arriving I had concerns about the accessibility of the property for me. I am a veteran with physical limitations. I was told I would be contacted by the operations manager first thing this morning. It doesn't surprise me that I wasn't called as promised. This property needs to be addressed. Aside from omitting important details from the description the property is VERY dirty and in need of maintenance. It also seems to have a bug problem. The management of this property was not interested in finding a resolution. They were only interested in emphasizing no refunds or resolutions would be considered. 15 years of renting through vacation homes this has been one of the worst experiences. - There is no Air Conditioning. - The place is in need of a deep cleaning. There was trash left from the stay before us with questionable items in it. - There were cobwebs spiderweb, spiders and bugs in nearly every corner. - Very narrow stairwell with very low overhead. - No customer service at all. The property management company is only interested in stonewalling. - To get on/off the Island There is a hefty ferry toll. Ferry schedule is important to note for making plans. - You have to park in a shared dirt parking lot that in overcrowded and hard to maneuver. It is about a 10 minute walk down an uneven dirt/rock path next to a seawall. Be careful in the dark the path is unlit. - There is no sandy beach to use. Only a rocky beach that is very mossy. - It is quiet and has so

Perfect getaway
Perfectly quiet. Easy access to the water. Enough space for us and our 2 teen/pre boys to have their own space. Overall the energy of the place was incredibly relaxing. The sound of the waves lapping the shore with the French doors wide open is the perfect background for a glorious nap. 100% will be booking again.

Quiet Enclave by the Sea
We loved our stay at this charming beach house. Situated at the south west side of Vashon in Paradise Cove, you pack your bags in and out by wheelbarrow. The space is small and looks exactly like the photos. You’ll wake up to frolicking seals, geese, osprey, and eagles. Water conservation is a must so be prepared for 11 pm-7 am water shutoff (all local houses share the same limited supply). Wonderful stay though Vacasa is difficult to work with. The propane tank for the grill was empty when we arrived and the outside garbage and recycling cans were full. We tried texting and emailing the numbers in our confirmation and app but got AI responses. We finally called and got the phone number of a local contact - Eileen- who was great. Though we are still waiting for Vacasa to reimburse us for refilling the propane tank.

Disappointing property
We were not told you had to walk down a path five minutes from the parking lot until the day before our stay. The wheelbarrow provided had a flat tire. There was no propane tank for the bbq. We were not told that the beach was private and you could only use what was right in front of the house. The coffee pot was plugged up as well as the shower in the upstairs bathroom. There were no linens for the hide-abed. The waffle iron was filthy. Out front of the house there is an incline with small rocks and exposed landscaping material. Three of us fell there and I fractured my tailbone. There was wet laundry in the dryer and it did not work well. The deck area had not been cleaned at all and a moldy bbq and umbrella were left on the deck. I have always had good experiences with VRBO up until now.

Paradise Cove
This is a lovely place to stay in the aptly named Paradise Cove. It is a walk-in only neighborhood, so you push your luggage along the bulkhead above the beach with a wheelbarrow to reach your front door. This works surprising well and just adds to the charm, but guests with mobility issues should be aware of this requirement. The house is well-equipped and comfortable with a gorgeous deck overlooking Clovos Passage. We had a wonderful time and would love to return.
