Valparaiso Beach Hotel

"This is a unique place with beautiful oceanfront views from every room. Very funky as each room is made from a shipping container. Because of that, the rooms are long and narrow, so there is just a little aisle to get by on the side of the bed. You need to be willing to walk steps, as there is no elevator and the breakfast area is on the 5th floor. Speaking of breakfast, it was a wonderful buffet, and the views from that rooftop are even more expansive that the room views. If you're used to...

"I liked that the hotel is almost an art galleria, with several paints and sculptures. They have a secure parking that's not common in that area. Staff is friendly and kind. It's not far from the famous urban art streets that are recommended to walk during the day. Avoid the halls at night."
