"Downtown Bilbao, just facing a nice park. Very well located, close to all the stores, bars, metro, river. All walking distance! The building is new. Nice decoration. The suits are quite spacious. Loved it!"

"Great apartments with the basics you need to prepare meals, dishwasher and washing machine. Extra towels, hygiene and cleaning products was provided. Only thing that was an issue was quality and range of wifi network. Was only available close to entrance. But other than that . Amazing Service provided before our late arrival. Great standard of the apparment and accessories that was provided. Walking distance beautiful Old town of Bilbao, Museums, restaurants etc."

"Delightful accommodation in the hills behind Bakio. Excellent security of the property and individual apartments. Great location for exploring the coastal region and centres such as Bilbao and Guernica."

"For anybody thinking that this will be a 'charming' rustic experience - please reconsider! We were unable to stay here - the place was musty and dark with poor cooking facilities and a layout that didnt work for us - the terrace was unusable due to mosquitoes and we couldnt open windows to air it out for same reason. We are used to camping and would prefer a tent to this accommodation. At 200 Euros a night it is hardly BUDGET - and fell well below our expectations. We didnt even last 15 minutes...

"This cottage is actually newly built, very clean, modern design and well-stocked. I found it to be a great location to visit many places in the Basque region ranging from coast to city to mountains. It was nice not to have to drive out and back in to a city every day. I would stay here again. "

"The trip to Villa Embil was absolutely amazing. We were welcomed by our host and received lots of places of interest and restaurants from him. Villa was gorgeous, clean and the views of Bay of Biscayne and Mediterranean were beautiful."

"Our stay at Basoan was amazing. It was a nice central location from which to take day trips into Bilbao or around the region. The hosts were very helpful and generous. The room and surrounding area was very relaxing - just what we wanted after a week of traveling around. If we are ever in the area we will most definitely stay here again."

"I stayed here when I spent a few days in Bilbao after a running trip in the Picos. The apartment included everything I needed for a great stay: comfortable bed, warm shower, kitchen supplies, etc. The location is good. About 800 meters from historic buildings, all the bars and restaurants of old town, and the open air market. Bilbao is a nice walkable city, with excellent public transit, so getting to the Guggenheim and other attractions is easy. I walked there so I could admire the scenery...

"Having to call for the shuttle only after getting baggage. We couldn’t schedule it the day before and had to wait until we got our luggage the day of. Sitting outside after a late night flight waiting for a shuttle…..I thought that odd. Perhaps the hotel was short staffed? "

"I stayed here one night with my husband for my birthday and it was sooo lovely! The staff immediately made it feel like a welcoming place, it was super clean and comfortable, and the location was walking distance to tons of restaurants and things to do. I hope to be lucky enough to visit Bilbao again and especially to stay at Hotel Takyo. Thank you!"

"We were welcomed by Aldara and a trainee Asier who was very professional, pleasant and patient when we checked in with our group. He was able to give us 2 out of our 4 rooms early which we greatly appreciated. Rooms are clean, decent sized with sound proofed windows, coffee machine and a complimentary bottle of water. Air conditioner worked well. Location is great. Walking distance to many, shops and restaurants. My brother enjoyed the arcade game machine in the lobby. Traveled with my father who uses a wheelchair and the adapted room is a wet room so water gets everywhere in the bathroom, otherwise our stay was great "
