Upper Carniola Adventure Sport Hotel

"Wonderful hotel with great amenities, including access to the swimming pool and a complimentary buffet breakfast. It's in a lovely location, right on the banks of Lake Bled. We opted for a "Park View" rather than a "Lake View", which meant our balcony was overlooking the car park and the road, so was a little noisy during the day. Next time we would pay the extra for a lake view. Despite that, we loved our stay and would absolutely return to this hotel. "

"The Gasperin is a pleasant hotel in an attractive area. The weather was cloudy and wet for most of our stay. The room we were in was on the ground floor and quite dark which might have been ok if it was sunny but it wasn’t. The area is pretty and although the hotel doesn’t offer evening meals there is a reasonable selection of places to eat nearby. The breakfast was good and the staff were helpful and friendly. The sun started to shine as we left and the lake was breathtaking. "

"This is a beautiful old hotel in a spectacular location with every room having a fabulous view of the lake and the church on the island; very clean, charming staff, lovely large bedroom and good bathroom; BUT. we had the hardest bed we have ever had AND for the three nights (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday) we were staying, there was no bar and no restaurant functioning for anything other than breakfast. This is true every week and is not just a one-off. No nearby restaurants; you have to drive several...
