"Beautiful location on the banks of the Uji River. The walks we took along the river with the lovely scenery and autumn leaves were truly memorable. Room was spacious, clean, comfortable and functional, and the balcony overlooking the river was wonderful. Really appreciate the hot bath after a cold day out. "Service is really good. The inn is small and cosy with unlimited tea and coffee for guests. I really like the Japanese decor in the inn. The only downside is there is no noise proofing so you will hear every noise anyone makes. If you don't intend to sleep in, then it's not an issue. Nearby is the morihan tea square, a must - experience. "
