“We enjoyed our stay at this lovely family bach in Ngakuta bay. Location was great, right on the water, Ngakuta loop trail, and the link trail. We enjoyed the toys and game room. This is a classic kiwi bach and you need to bring your own sheets and towels. We did not hear back when we inquired about the possibility of renting linens. The property is what we expected from a kiwi back and we really enjoyed our stay. ”

“The stay at Eliza’s cottage was a whimsical experience from the beautiful garden to the home made breakfast breads and jams our host our did herself. Our kids also loved a splash in the pool in the afternoons and picking lemons off the many fruit trees in the garden. What a beautiful place to stay while enjoying the lovely wine region of NZ. ”

“What a wonderful place! It absolutely exceeded expectations in comfort and scenery. Those views are captivating - we spend a lot of time just sitting on the deck and looking out! The space was welcoming and well equipped. We enjoyed an outing to Blenheim to visit the Omaka Air Exhibits and a few cellar doors on one day, and then the Pelorus Mail Boat trip the next day. But best of all was just relaxing at the bach, enjoying the views, some wine, some games and some delicious apples. ……

“We had a fantastic time. The host is an excellent communicator and responded to any questions relatively quickly. The only time there was any delay was when they were waiting to hear from other parties (e.g., cleaners). The house was well supplied and had magical views. St Omer Bay was nice walk from the house and a lovely beach to spend the day at. Hope to return another time.”

“We loved staying here. We were 2 couples. We loved that each bedroom had ots owm ensuite. The home was rxtremely clean and had a very well stocked kitchen (dishes, pots and pans, serving bowls, utensils) for preparing meals. We used the kayaks and loved it. Check in and check out wad a breeze. We would definitely stay here again! Fabulous and close to many great vineyards! Thank you hosts! ”

“A great place to stay for a couple... and, in our case, two small dogs. Everything you need, although no freezer or laundry facility. The fridge is a wine fridge but it's huge and was plenty big enough for our needs. Tons of room, excellent bathroom, comfortable bed, wifi, large tv. Easy access to Havelock and Queen Charlotte Sound, Blenheim, Picton, and Rapara Beach (no good for swimming but awesome ruggedness), plus heaps of wineries to explore.”
