"Came for a business meeting and needed no frills, so picked the cheapest place I could find. When they handed me a brass key and not a magnetic card, I was a bit worried. Don't let the older style of this building fool you. This had the feel of a 1970s motel but was really clean and comfortable. The room had the 'Northern Woods' decor seen in a lot of places in Hayward, so it was cozy and woodsy. Pretty view of the river and super close to everything. Pleasantly surprised."

"This property is accurate to the photos. We had a great time with four couples hanging out, cooking, playing games and making memories. Exactly what we were looking for with our kiddo free weekend. The house has multiple common spaces to gather and have a variety of surroundings (inside and outside). We loved the location and opportunities in the communities not far away. We would visit this property again and would recommend it to friends/family. Thank you for the memories Lodge Life!"

"The cabin was very nice and we enjoyed the stay. A bit concerned about the safety of the stairs to the lofts. Surprised there is not a railing. I climbed the stairs to peek at what the loft looked like, but never went back up. With socks on, the steps were slippery. One suggestion would be a real couch in front of the main level tv. The futon is not comfortable to sit on for very long. "
