"Came for a business meeting and needed no frills, so picked the cheapest place I could find. When they handed me a brass key and not a magnetic card, I was a bit worried. Don't let the older style of this building fool you. This had the feel of a 1970s motel but was really clean and comfortable. The room had the 'Northern Woods' decor seen in a lot of places in Hayward, so it was cozy and woodsy. Pretty view of the river and super close to everything. Pleasantly surprised."

"I was unfortunately unable to utilize my reservation to an illness to a member of the party I was going to be visiting during my stay so I had to cancel the trip. I contacted Matthew to notify him that his housekeeping crew would not need to clean the cabin after my presumed stay and he was kind enough to refund the cleaning fee from my rental.
