"We stayed for 3 nights and wished it was a week. The apartment was as comfortable and the view as beautiful as advertised. We did not have a car But it was easy to get to and from the lovely town of Varenna by cab. Marco was a very gracious and helpful host I highly recommend this property. "

"Pictures don’t do justice to the view that awaits the renter of this apartment! The lake and the surrounding mountains are stunning. The apartment is nice and comfortable with a great balcony to enjoy the view. I would recommend getting there during the day since it can be a bit tricky at night. Pay attention to the fact that there are 3 flights of steps to climb, but if steps are not a problem, the view is totally worth it!!!"

He made life easy with a detailed "instruction manual" that explained everything we needed to know to about the house, from check-in to check-out. The apartment had everything you’d need for cooking, laundry and restful spaces. There was a cute porch with a view of a small chapel, a castle and the lake if you stood close to the railing.
