Disappointing Stay
We were let down on many levels with this booking. The photographs of this property show a well maintained garden and pool area and is the reason we chose it. It was our first family holiday together as my father recovers from a stroke and we had hoped to spend our days with him while the children played in the garden. The reality was no use of a fenced off pool, overgrown garden, broken garden swing and rusty unusable bbq. Despite many attempts to even get the lawn mowed, including a conversation with the owner, nobody was willing to help us. We ended up buying a paddling pool for the kids from the local supermarket. We had to replace some of the bedding that smelled of cigarette smoke ourselves and various items around the house were already broken (incl. tumble dryer / light fittings hanging off walls), despite the huge security deposit that was taken from our bank account two days before we got there for our one week holiday. The owner was unwilling to take any action during our stay and bizarrely replied two weeks after we had left.
