"We had a group of 7, ages ranging from 8-60. The house had plenty of space and areas to break into smaller groups or gather together. This house was much larger than the pictures represented. "Great little getaway at the beach. Loved the beach access path right outside the door, the deck with hot tub and of course the ocean view. Bed was comfortable. We did think there needed to be clarification that the ping pong table/game room setup is NOT part of the unit, but a community-use game room across the parking lot. We thought the listing photos made it look like it had its own game room in the rental. Ended up not being a big deal, but we felt misled on that."

"This was our fourth trip to the coast in past three years and our second time at the Sanderling Cottages. We tried a couple of other spots along the coast, but ended up coming back to the cottages. The location and beach are our favorite part and the cottage is nicely updated and well equipped. This unit had more signs of wear but was still nice. The cleanliness of the unit could have been better. There was sand and hair on the floors, dust bunnies in the corners, and the kitchen felt a little...

"Location was great. The only complaint was the lack of visibility trying to get out of the parking area. The cottage was really great, but the downstairs was incredibly small. It felt like the 8 person table in the entry/dining/kitchen/living room was unnecessary and more of an inconvenience than an amenity. Otherwise the beach was amazing and there was great access. The bedrooms were roomy and comfortable.Would definitely recommend for people looking for a dog friendly place to stay."

"Its a beautiful place! clean & comfy ...the hot tub was great to have, it couldve been a lil cleaner but wasn't really too bad just a lil wipe down & its all good.. all in all it was nice, especially with the cooler weather in that area, even in july haha A hot tub over looking the ocean, what could be better ...it was quiet and a nice relaxing place to stay..the one thing that was confusing to me was that the pics show a game room which made me think it was part of the unit, but it must be in...

"The view from the balcony is fantastic. We would stay again. Really liked the indoor wood paneling. Would like to give it a full 5 stars but the bathroom window didn't open or close smoothly due to rust and the kitchen sink should have a garbage disposal. Great location."

I also did not like communicating with a BOT, who did not know the location of the beach access and who kept asking me if I needed more help even when I said no. SO the place was great, but bare bones, bring your own everything and the communication should be with a person..."

"This is such a cute little house in an adorable small ocean side town. The town has restaurants and cafes as well as probably the best rock shop I’ve ever been to before. The house was very clean when we arrived and check in was super easy. You could see the ocean from pretty much every room in the house. We really enjoyed staying here. "
