"The cottage was perfect for our trip to enjoy the finger lakes region because it was centrally located. Roxanne is a terrific host, easily accessible to answer questions about the area. We enjoyed the fire pit and many nights star gazing. We would highly recommend the cottage and hope to travel to New York again and stay at Sweetgrass! Kim and Tom"

"Charlie the owners was at the property very welcoming and nice .the property was amazing. Right on a river. The house was above incredible, you feel your at spa .he has everything you could ever want. The only down is the well water has a sulfur smell but he provides bottled water for cooking and cleaning .so no problem. Cool evening enjoyed a nice fire.the pictures on the site are exactly what it looks like. Dont think theres a picture of the bench by the river its a great place to set."

"Nice cottage & very peaceful area. Could’ve provided a few more every day items like extra kitchen garbage bags and salt/pepper but over all clean & quiet stay. One slightly annoying setting was the bathroom light which went on by a motion sensor. Overall a nice feature, just not at 2am:("

"Property holds true to its name. The sunsets were stunning every night. Booked the property for the peace of mind of a fenced yard with a dog, who enjoyed roaming around but we would have appreciated the grass cut prior to our arrival. Overall it was a great, peaceful stay we were comfortable, the fire pit was enjoyable and it’s super close to dog friendly vineyards and the state parks."

"Great location on the lake. Ideal location close to wineries and mid way between Geneva and Watkins Glen. We stayed for a week in May and were able to see many parks and wineries along 4 different lakes. Beautiful lake view from the kitchen, nice deck for relaxing in the evening. Owner is very responsive to questions, etc. and is nearby in case anything is needed. Nice quiet location for families and couples."

"We stayed one night at this cabin, and it was lovely. Contactless check in and check out was like a breeze. Very quaint little cabin for a perfect relaxing getaway. Host also prepared a list of nearby places to see like vinyards, restaurants, hiking spots and other cool information! Host is also very quick to respond to messages. "This is an adorable house. The photos posted do not do it justice. Loved it even more upon entering. Location was perfect. The view of the lake was beautiful. Since the reservations made last minute, it meant no refund. Unfortunately, we had an emergency that needed attending to. Instead of cancelling, I decided to go it alone with just my two fur babies.
