We stayed at this property for six days, and while it was a lovely home, with thoughtful touches everywhere and plenty of creature comforts, it was very dirty when we arrived (sticky, crumb-covered surfaces, dirty bathtub, very dirty floors and carpets that looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time, and dust everywhere — enough to cause some respiratory issues for us both ).
I ended up having to clean the house myself before we could settle in, and once it was clean we enjoyed our stay. I did email the management company about the cleanliness issue the next day but never received a reply. I saw later that they noted that phone calls would be attended to faster than emails, so that may have been a factor in the lack of response, but we were there for almost a full week, so it seems odd that we would get no reply at all in that entire time.
