Magnificent Scenery
This home is designed to enjoy nature’s scenery! We loved the views as well as all the amenities the home offered. Unfortunately, there was a heat wave and the home is not air conditioned which I failed to notice when booking. There were fans which helped circulate air but the home became quite hot and uncomfortable. So if you’re traveling in the summer, that would be my only caution.

The house was gorgeous, had great views and most everything we needed. We would absolutely recommend the property!! However, we inadvertently missed a note about checking in with the caretaker before noon the day of check in for check in details and instructions to access the key. Two phone calls and voicemails, one text and an email later and no response from the caretaker. We had to call the emergency number and we were finally able to access the property an hour after sitting outside in the heat and an hour after check in time. We finally heard from the caretaker the morning of checkout, reminding us what time we needed to be off the property.

Great, one-of-a-kind place to stay.
We loved the Adobe de Artista. Out-of-the-way, serene, restful, wonderful place. We loved the interior of the home, particularly the art. Everyday of our stay we seemed to discover something else interesting about the furnishings, interior design and fixtures, and art work. The surrounding area is simply beautiful and the mountain views from the picture window in the living room are spectacular. Loved the hot tub too. If we could rate with more than 5 stars we would.

Great location, quick drive to Taos. Far enough way you feel secluded and private. Surrounding dirt roads were wonderful for dog walks in the mornings. Home was impeccable designed and decorated. Very comfortable! We hope to visit again !

Anniversary Trip
We celebrated our Anniversary by taking a road trip through the Panhandle and northern New Mexico. This was our second stop where we stayed for 5 days. It is a GEM of a place! So comfortable. It’s big enough for 6 people/3 couples with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. We didn’t need all the space, but oh my goodness—the views from the windows were breathtaking. Very well located to Taos, the Gorge, Red River and all the activities that the area has to offer. We will be back!! Thank you for sharing your place with us. It was lovely.

We had a wonderful stay in Taos. The house was even better in person, extremely comfortable, and relaxing. The communication was great before and after our stay. The road out is a dirt road but was fine in the compact car we rented. We enjoyed using the kitchen, watching storms roll, the hot tub, and lounging in the main room. We did not end up using the fireplaces because we were warm enough but imagine they'd be lovely in cold weather. Only thing I would change is getting a King bed in at least one of the rooms. Would love to come back and stay again.

The house is a work of art! Had everything we needed. Stunning views of the mountains and surrounding mesa. Saw lots of rabbits and a bobcat. Thoroughly enjoyed the ravens and other birds. Sitting outside in the late afternoon hearing the breeze in the trees was very peaceful.

The vibrant and earthy colors of the interior of the home welcome you. The amazing design is grown right from the earth. Every ammenity you would want and then some! This place was immaculate- booking process and property manager were efficient and fantastic. I can't wait for the next opportunity to stay here. Highlights for me- cooking in the fabulous kitchen with the works great poets pans and knives and beautiful surplus of dishes. Looking out the gorgeous massive windows and seeing the snow and wildlife. Evenings in the hot tub and the daily fires in the living room and bedroom. It's really a dream spot!!! Enjoy.

This is such a wonderful house in a quiet location. Nice artistic touch, awesome fireplaces, incredibly restorative space. Very relaxing, excellent views, easy to take a walk down the dirt road. Perfect place to socially distance. Very clean, and very responsive property manager, too! Loved our stay here.
