"What a great immersive experience to have a little house for our stay in Kyoto, so close to many temples and other areas of interest. The house was cozy and warm in the cold weeks of winter and the large bath and zen garden were a nice touch."

"This property was absolutely epic. Extremely fast communication, gorgeous house and delicious dinner coordinated during a time when most things are shut. Mari and her team were so great. We regretted we didn't have more than one night to enjoy this picturesque village and perfect house. It surpassed all expectations. "The property had everything we needed. The full kitchen was a must for us and they provided everything. The house was so authentic. we enjoyed exploring the Northern part of Kyoto and heading up to the mountain so this was a perfect location for us to explore from. we would definitely come back here to this location again."

"This was a great place to stay if you like off the beaten path, the Nijo Castle was right next to it. Because it was off the beaten path, eateries/stores were not as convenient but there were still accessible just not as plentiful if staying in the city. The only downside to say was the towels were few and small with no where to hang, other than that it was great value for you dollar."
