The hitel is located very conviniently near Taipei main station and the shopping malls (about 10min walk). It's right next to the National Museum as well which we visited and enjoyed very much.
The staff were so friendly and nice! They were very polite and always happy to help.
The room we stayed in (2 bed) was not bad either. The shower and toilet was separate which is noce when you arr staying with another person. But for some reason both the shower and toilet doors aren't a door that goes all the way from top to bottom. So you can hear a bit. But what's more was the sound of water (presumably shower) of the next door. It was very loud and if they had showered in the middle of the night, it would have woken us and kept us up until they finished. It was that loud. The noise from the outside was also loud. It wasn't loud enough to keep me awake but if you are a light sleeper, it might bother you. Regardless, it is a very convenient hotel to stay at for its price.
In terms of amenities, they provide you with toothbrush, hairbrush, shower cap, cotton buds. There may have been more things provided but I didn't use them as I jad brought my own. They will replenish the stock if you use any of them when they come in for housekeeping.
There is a breakfast shop just across the road from the hotel. It was very busy eith locals and tourists alike. The food there was great, we went two days in a row.
