"The hotel was clean and tidy, our room and beds were very clean. The bathroom was old school but everything worked as it should. The hotel is set up for groups of people, so perfect if you’re touring the lake. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and there are plenty of typical Balaton places to eat and drink near by, plus a few special ones. "

"The Wellmarin Hotel is a lovely hotel, with great access to Lake Balaton. We have no complaints other than that there is very little English spoke at the front desk, and we did not feel very welcome, in comparison to the rest of the hotels we stayed at in Europe. There was a gentleman who worked the evening shift who did go above and beyond for us. We were thankful for him."

"Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit in Szántód. Der öffentliche Strand mit Büfe ist in 5 Minuten fußläufig erreichbar. Die Fähre nach Tihány ist auch nicht weit. Das Haus ist ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. Die Dachterrasse ist unbrauchbar. "

"Wir sind als Familie mit zwei Kindern (11 und 13 Jahre) verreist und hatten sehr viel Platz in dieser Ferienwohnung. Sie war sauber gepflegt und liebevoll eingerichtet. Auch im Hof konnten wir die Sitzplätze zum Frühstücken nutzen. Die Vermieter sind sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Der Balaton ist mit dem Fahrrad in 5 Minuten zu erreichen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
